Before we started using SEO That Works, we were mainly doing guest posting for our clients. It’s pretty straightforward.

We’d write an article, we pitch it to different bloggers, but one thing we kept running into is a lot of bloggers would ask for payment. Also, a lot of our clients weren’t too excited about guest posting.

So we tried to shift gears and start doing content marketing and we tried doing infographics and promoting it. We tried creating really long resource pages, but we just struggled to get anyone to link to it.

So we thought we’d invest in the SEO That Works course. And basically what happened is we quickly saw the nuances in our processes and where we were going wrong, and the pitfalls. There’s so many nuances every step of the way, whether it’s coming up with a topic, or how you structure content, or the email template to use or how you promote it.
