“I am building a blog with high quality content that our community seems to love, but I wasn’t getting much notice from Google.

I tried a few SEO tricks (including those found on Backlinko), but needed something more structured to make sure I didn’t just jump aimlessly from one approach to another. STW course came highly recommended (the tipping point was Jon Morrow’s recommendation). It helped that I had a lot of familiarity with your work already and trusted you.

The biggest takeaway for me was to start focusing on a handful of “power pages”.

My earlier approach was to publish a new post each Monday and do some outreach on it’s behalf until next Monday and move on to the next article. It wasn’t very successful.

Through the course of STW, I decided to focus on 2 power pages. I had a ELP post from before, and created an infographic during the course. Right now, I am focusing on building links to just these two pages, with the infographic being the primary priority, and the ELP post getting any additional time/energy I can spare.
